Why so Mimi chose the picture of Black-Winged Stilt?

"The choice of this picture here has very symbolic meaning.

When Oliviero asked me to prepare a picture I took a lot of time and I was not satisfied of anything of my photos. But at the end I remembered this dramatic scene that I observed for at about half hour in the Association Center of Storks and Anatidae, Racconigi, Italy.

The small poor bird of Black-Winged Stilt did not want to surrender, frightened very hard to survive and even showed great cunning, but its bigger brothers were much more stronger than him. Nobody of the other birds, neither its parents came to help him.

At the same time, I and many others were standing in the Birdwatching house and we were not able to help in any way.

This scene touched me a lot and I did not have a strength to see how it will end.

What did the poor small bird show to me?

The poor small bird shows that he could not survive without any other help but we all human being can help not only to survive one but many other souls!"
