There are more than 1000 places in Europe where you can find and enjoy the Magic of Christmas Markets.
Also in Italy there are places where you can go and enjoy, to try the delicious homemade sweeties, cheese and salami, local wines, small handmade souvenirs and of course to find a Presepe for your home. Presepe can be made in many different ways but however whatever you choose you will be pleased to decorate your home with it.
Especially nice is the atmosphere when before the night the lights illuminate all this colorful carpet.
Your kids also will be satisfied to meet Santa Claus and his sleigh there, and to receive some candies by him.
However only being there will bring you a good mood and maybe to remember you your childhood and how magic can be Christmas.
When Christmas Markets are opened?
Usually Christmas Markets are opened outside on the main street of the city.
They are usually opened from the last week of November to the end of the Year but in some places they can be opened to the Epiphany (Befana), January 6, that is official holiday in Italy.
Where can you find Christmas Markets in Italy?
It is said that the most spectacular Markets are opened in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige in the cities of Bolzano, Merano, Rovereto, Bressanone, Vipiteno, Sarentino, Lana, Chiusa, Levico, Trento, Andalo, Arco, Baselga di Pinè, Cortina and Belluno.
But you can find Christmas Markets also in other cities of Italy - Torino, Susa, Verbania, Biella, Verona.
