What to see in Umbria?

Umbria itself is all beautiful to see and it is one of the most visited regions of Italy. The relief of Umbria is mostly composed by hills and small flats. Everywhere you travel in Umbria you will find picturesque villages and cities situated on the top of the hills. The most good months of the year to visit Umbria are usually from the Spring to the Autumn when everything is green or yellow and flowered. Everywhere in the villages you will see many flower and don't miss to see the beautiful feast of flowers in Spoleto. Or to see Assisi, a marvelous place for pilgrims. You should not miss also to see Foggia with the nearby Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo - it is the third one after the sacred Monasteries of Mont Saint-Michel in North France and Sacra di San Michele in Piedmont. Another two very interesting villages to see are Gubbio and Orvieto. Of course you should not miss to visit the historical part of Perugia on its hill and one of the most interesting Italian Waterfalls in Terni.
