Ponte dell'Academia is situated almost to the end of Canal Grande before to go to Piazza San Marco with Vaporetto. The bridge links the sestiere of Dorsoduro and San Marco. It is the only one of the four big bridges in Venezia that is not made by stones but by wood and steel. The others are Ponte di Rialto, Ponte degli Scalzi and Ponte della Costituzione. Usually here you can always find young people and painters to make their paintings.
