About Palazzo Vecchio
Palazzo Vecchio is the main palace in Firenze in Piazza della Signora. Built in 1540 by Cosimo I of the Medici family. Later it is a residence of Dukes of Florence. In our days Palazzo Vecchio is the building of Municipality of the city but a part of it is saved like a museum where tourist could enjoy and see the atmosphere of the Renaissance and could see the famous statue of Victory.
Open Tuesday to Sunday 9,00 – 19,00
Closed Monday, 15 August, Easter, New Year's Day, May 1st and Christmas Day
